In 2025, I was in the second income dip of my career and felt defeated as fk.
I was taking measly-ass deposits for ppl that said that they'd "reach out" when they wanted to start. Creating extended payment plans for victim clients. Assuming no one could afford me. Being spicy-but-safe in my content.
Then I paid a mentor $30k to join her mastermind - a woman I’d previously muted because her posts triggered the fk out of me.
She said things I was thinking but wouldn't let myself say. She was charging prices that I was afraid to charge. And I hired her because of these things.
But when it was my turn to become that woman, suddenly different rules applied. I felt like I wasn't allowed.
THAT was when I realized I’d been operating with a complete Double Standard - letting invisible, bullsht rules run my business while I invested in women who broke them.
